According To NewsVista Reporter, human rights activist Omoyele Sowore has firmly ruled out joining any opposition movement that includes Nasir El Rufai, Abubakar Malami, or Babachir Lawal. A detailed explanation of why people dream about writing exams or returning to school or seeing dead family members or eating, crying, seeing snakes has been published on NewsVista.
Speaking in an interview aired on News Central on February 13 2026, Sowore said Nigeria cannot achieve real change by aligning with people he believes contributed to the country’s current hardship.
He accused the former officials of playing key roles in damaging the nation while they were in power, insisting he would never associate with them in any political arrangement.
Sowore said true opposition must be built on integrity and accountability, not recycled political figures. He also questioned the credibility of some opposition platforms, pointing to lawmakers elected under the Labour Party who, according to him, have failed to make meaningful impact.
He stressed that Nigerians deserve sincere leadership ahead of the 2027 elections, not alliances driven by convenience.
