Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has continued to fire back at her nephew’s wife, Judy Austin, over her defamation lawsuit.
Kemi Filani reported a day ago, Judy filed a writ of summons against Rita, demanding a billion in damages, a retraction and apology, an order to pay Judy N50 million, and a 10% post-judgment interest, and more.
Reacting to the suit, Rita said she doesn’t know anyone bearing Judy Austin Yul Edochie, and admonished her to present her marriage certificate if she insists on being addressed that way.
Still on it, in a post she shared online, Edochie noted that though Judy isn’t the first to take someone’s husband, she will be the first to contend with karma.
Making her know she is the mother that mothered everyone’s mother, she vowed to face off with her in court. She said if only Judy knows who she is, she would be cursing those who advised her to make such a move.

Following Judy’s marriage to her nephew-in-law, Rita has constantly attacked Judy.
She recently shaded Judy, noting that May is travelling across the globe while Judy is holding tightly to Yul. She also admonished anyone planning to snatch someone’s husband to check the quality of what they’re snatching.
When Judy accused someone of paying her ex to tarnish her home, Rita questioned who had paid Judy to scatter May’s home, pointing out the irony that Judy was calling a home she stole and coveted hers. She expressed sadness at how people were supporting Judy and trolling Obasi for speaking up.
In 2024, Rita had thrown shade at Judy, as she stated that the prayers of a home wrecker can never get to God. She admonished Judy and other homewreckers to sit at a place and enjoy the item they have temporarily stolen.
Reacting to the criticisms she received over her attack on Judy, she stated that the fact that she is an old woman gives her such right and keeps her in the position to drag Judy. She stated that whether she is old or not, as long as Judy doesn’t rest, she also wouldn’t rest.
