Nollywood actress Omobolarinde Akinyanju, better known as Ashabi, has reacted to criticisms following her latest interview.
Kemi Filani reported that, in an interview with Oyinmomo TV, Ashabi said Portable chanced her when she was younger and took advantage of it. She said the singer used to be a caring person. Ashabi revealed that Portable has 10 children at age 32, and she is the mother of two of his kids.
Taking to her Instagram page, Ashabi noted that people were crying over issues that don’t concern them. She further noted that most people didn’t watch the interview and jumped to conclusions.

Recall that on New Year, Portable and Ashabi had engaged in a heated argument, as Ashabi told the singer to kill her.
In an Instagram video, Portable claimed that Ashabi came to his house to attack his family. He claimed that his pregnant wife was beaten mercilessly, and guns were pointed at his children. He further claimed Ashabi’s mother accused him of using charm on her daughter and questioned why he didn’t buy a car for her.
Speaking up for herself, the upcoming actress explained that when she and her siblings went to celebrate the New Year with him, he pushed her and slapped her. She alleged that he brought out an axe and forcefully took all their phones, gave her younger brother a blow in his eye, and slapped her younger sister, which left her seeking safety in his office.
In another post, the mother of two had addressed critics, telling them to leave them alone. She told them to allow her to breathe and reduce their advice, and further told them to let her be and allow her to think for herself.
While speaking about her love life, she described Portable as a narcissist, noting how one can’t predict his next move, especially when he is the jealous type and has anger issues. She said she wakes up every day thinking about how best to manage him.
