Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede isn’t ending the year single, as she showed off the gifts she received from her man.
The movie star, who has been in the news lately following her support for 2baba and his new wife on her Instagram page, shared photos of the flower bouquet, cash, and love knot she received from her man, whose identity she kept under wraps.
Yvonne said the gifts made her day, as she stated that her boo is a gift that keeps giving. The mother of one appreciated him, hailing him as her ‘Detty December Pressie’.

While reflecting on her single status early this year, Jegede revealed that she started 2024 single and ended it single.
Last year, Yvonne had revealed the qualities she is looking for in her future partner. She disclosed that she wants a man with a good mind and empathy and one that can give her N20 million when she asks for N1 million.
Elsewhere in the interview, she revealed that she walked out of her marriage because she was contributing more financially than her ex-husband. The movie star further expressed regrets over choosing love instead of money, and added that her ex-husband took every joke as disrespect because he was older than her, which worsen things.
Recall that Jegede met the son of late actress, Bukky Ajayi, on the set of Tade Ogidan’s popular drama series, ‘Behind the Siege”. After years of being together, the lovebirds tied the knot in a classy wedding ceremony in Lagos in February, 2018. Unfortunately the marriage didn’t last long as a year later, the couple split when Yvonne was still pregnant.
In an interview, Yvonne disclosed that her ex-husband is a deadbeat father who hasn’t shown any form of support or interest in the life of their son, Xavier. She recounted how Olakunle Fawole only showed up once to see the child after she gave him an ultimatum and how he doesn’t celebrate their son on his birthdays.
However, the mother of one is grateful for her son as she pondered on how her life would have become if she hadn’t given birth before the marriage hit the rock.
