The Zamfara chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has extolled the appointment of the former Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Alhaji Sanusi Rikiji, as the Director-General, Nigerian Office for Trade Negotiations (NOTN).

The Zamfara chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has extolled the appointment of the former Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Alhaji Sanusi Rikiji, as the Director-General, Nigerian Office for Trade Negotiations (NOTN).
This is contained in s statement issued in Gusau on Sunday by the state Publicity Secretary of the party, Malam Yusuf Idris.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Rikiji was the former Zamfara Commissioner of Finance and the former Chief of Staff to the erstwhile Speaker, House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila.
The state APC leadership under Alhaji Tukur Danfulani described Rikiji’s appointment by Tinubu’ as a welcome development.
He said the party was confident that Rikiji would ensure the promotion of the Renewed Hope Agenda of Tinubu in changing the trade base of the country.
This, Idris said, would be through the initiation of new ideas, saying that he was full of vision and he was determined to bolster the development of Nigeria’s trading environment.
“We wish to express our profound gratitude to President Bola Tinubu over the recent appointment of Rikiji as D-G, NOTN and the country’s representative as World Trade Organisation (WTO).
“No doubt, Mr President has extended love and confidence to the good people of Zamfara.
” APC under will continue to be loyal to Tinubu’s administration, all his good policies and programmes to further transform Nigeria,” Idris said.
The party leadership while congratulating the new appointee, the urged him to continue to be a reference point at all times as a good ambassador of Zamfara and Nigeria.
“We urge him not to relent in his efforts of positive ideas and progressive approach to issues that are of benefit to the citizens and the success of President Tinubu’s development.
“We sincerely thank the president for the appointment and assure him that our son will deliver the national task given to him as expected.
