Zichis Agro Allied Industries listing to increase NGX market cap by N1.96bn

The Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) is set to list Zichis Agro Allied Industries Plc on its Growth Board. The company is listing 1.086 billion shares at N1.81 per share. The listing will increase NGX market capitalisation by N1.96 billion.

Zichis Agro Allied Industries plc engaged Qualinvest Capital Limited as Lead Issuing house and Anchoria Investment and Securities Limited as its Lead Stockbroker in connection with the listing.

Zichis Agro-Allied Industries Plc is undertaking a listing by introduction of its entire issued Ordinary Shares to promote better liquidity of its shares in the secondary market and be better positioned to access long-term capital from a wide range of local and international investors when required.

There will also be a “Facts Behind the Listing” Presentation by the Board and Management of Zichis Agro Allied Industries Plc on Tuesday January 20 to commemorate the listing of the company on Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX).

Zichis Agro-Allied Industries Plc broadly operates in the value chain of the poultry and fish Industry, piggery and snail farming, goat and cow farming/ ranching among other livestock breeding and husbandry, palm oil estate farming, and plantain, rice, maize intercropping farming, animal feeds processing and manufacturing for birds/fish feed meals (enriched).

Zichis Agro Allied Industries Plc farms is lying on an expanse of land of over 18 acres situated at Imegun village at Ijebu IteIe in Ogun State. Some of the facilities existing now include 5 pen houses for poultry chicken, a large Snail farmhouse, and 32 large earthing ponds to stock and breed a minimum of 2,000 fish per pond.

It also has a recently built multi-purpose feed mill plant and is about to install a second feed mill plant line to boost feed production both for internal use in the poultry/fish farms unit and also to sell externally to poultry/fish farmers.

Zichis Agro-Allied Industries Plc farms also have an additional 5 acres of land for palm oil trees estate which isabout to be scaled up to 100 acres to be intercropped with plantain and maize and rice farm fields.

Zichis Agro-Allied Industries Plc believes that there is a greater opportunity to harness expansion and integrated (vertical and horizontal) farming estates contributing to the economic development of the country in terms of food; improve the integrity of GPP facilities to prevent and minimize pollution and waste.

The farm is a mixed farming of cropping and livestock, strategically positioned as an Agro allied industries for backward and forward integration to address the food shortage in the nation and sub Sahara Africa

At the “Facts Behind the Listing” Presentation, the Executive Management team of Zichis Agro Allied Industries Plc
will share valuable insights into the company’s strategic vision, growth trajectory, and the anticipated impact of the listing on its operations and market positioning.

The company’s livestock farm is siting on 18 Acres of land with over 10,000 growers and 25,000 layers for egg production. It also has 22 earthing ponds stocked with over 2,000 catfish. Zichis Agro Allied Industries Plc equally breeds snails and pigs for commercial purposes.

Zichis Agro Allied Industries Plc has grown its asset base with networth of over N450 million and a share capital of N300 million. They recorded a whopping total gross revenue of N132 million as at the close of business year 2023, with profit after tax of over N8.1million with total retained earnings of over N21.1million.

Its Palm Kernel Estate is sitting on 30 acres of land, in addition to its existing 5 acres, with over 5,000 Ten-era palm fruits. In which will aid the company’s oil production for local and export production.

Also, the company has strategic alliance with local farmers to grow high breed maize and sweet corn which has assisted Zichis Agro Allied Industries Plc greatly in its backward integration towards feed mill production.
