It seems like Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo isn’t the only one counting down to the day her daughter, Priscilla, will walk down the aisle as her colleague, Toyin Abraham, is also excitedly looking forward to that day.

Kemi Filani reported hours ago that Iyabo had penned a heartfelt note to her in-laws and the women of Tanzanian over their warm welcome to her daughter, Priscilla. She appreciated them, especially the women of Mkambala, for accepting and warmly welcoming her daughter, as she called herself Iya Iyawo.

In her comment section, Toyin Abraham also expressed excitement at Priscilla being received warmly by her in-laws. Calling herself Iya Iyawo Kekere, she revealed that ten people would tie her gele that day.

“Asin ehhh. Oh my gele. Iya Iyawo Kekere. Is like ten people will tie my gele that day”.

Two days back, fans of Toyin had rejoiced after she shut down rumours of a beef between her and her Iyabo Ojo by congratulating Priscilla on her engagement. The mother of one was first mute about the news, which left many wondering if the actresses had fallen out. Proving that all was well between them, Toyin took to her Instagram page to celebrate the couple. Calling Priscilla her daughter, she expressed her love for her and revealed how happy and proud she was of her.

To further prove that all was well, Iyabo Ojo had sweetly celebrated Toyin as she marked her birthday two days back. Taking to her Instagram page, she described Toyin as her amazing sister and friend as she expressed how much she loves her.

Many thought the two would have a strained relationship after Iyabo Ojo reconciled with Toyin’s rival, Funke Akindele. Recall that Funke Akindele and Iyabo fell out and were at loggerheads for years after Iyabo dragged Funke when a blogger criticised Toyin Abraham’s movie, The Ghost and The Tout.

When Eniola Badmus celebrated her 20 years in Nollywood, and Funke didn’t show up, Iyabo Ojo threw a subtle shade at her, as there were speculations that Funke shunned the event to avoid any drama with Iyabo and Toyin.

To the surprise of many at the AMVCA in 2022, Iyabo and Funke put their beef aside by embracing and exchanging pecks.

In August, Toyin and Funke Akindele also ended their unspoken rivalry, when Toyin celebrated Akindele on her birthday, and the latter reciprocated.
