11 Plc, Air Liquide Weaken NASD OTC Bourse by 0.49%

The duo of 11 Plc and Air Liquide Plc triggered a 0.49 per cent loss at the NASD Over-the-Counter (OTC) Securities Exchange on Thursday, November 27.

11 Plc lost N36.00 to end at N324.00 per share compared with the previous day’s N360.00 per share and Air Liquide Plc weakened by N1.08 to close at N10.90 per unit, in contrast to the previous day’s N11.98 per unit.

As a result, the market capitalisation depleted by N10.59 billion to finish at N2.146 billion compared with the N2.156 trillion it settle at midweek, and the NASD Unlisted Security Index (NSI) went down by 17.69 points to 3,587.35 points from the previous session’s 3,605.04 points.

The NASD OTC bourse ended the day’s session with a sole gainer, which did not have a positive impact on the outcome of the alternative stock market. The price of NASD Plc was up by N5.30 to N58.30 per share from N53.00 per share.

During the day, the volume of securities transacted by the market participants went down by 574.3 per cent to 106,889 units from the previous day’s 4.3 million units, as the value of transactions decreased by 94.2 per cent to N5.8 million from the N100.3 million recorded a day earlier, and the number of deals shrank by 16.7 per cent to 20 deals from the 24 deals quoted on Wednesday.

Infrastructure Credit Guarantee Company (InfraCredit) Plc remained the most traded stock by value with a year-to-date sale of 5.8 billion units valued at N16.4 billion, followed by Okitipupa Plc with 170.4 million units transacted for N8.0 billion, and Air Liquide Plc with 507.5 million units worth N4.2 billion.

InfraCredit Plc also finished the trading day as the most traded stock by volume on a year-to-date basis with 5.8 billion units traded for N16.4 billion, followed by Industrial and General Insurance (IGI) Plc with 1.2 billion units sold for N420.1 million, and Impresit Bakolori Plc with 536.9 million units exchanged for N524.9 million.
