The duo of 11 Plc and FrieslandCampina Wamco Nigeria Plc triggered a 0.26 per cent slide in the NASD Over-the-Counter (OTC) Securities Exchange on Monday, October 13.

This brought down the market capitalisation of the trading platform by N5.31 billion to N2.059 trillion from the N2.065 trillion quoted at the preceding session, and the NASD Unlisted Security Index (NSI) decreased by 28.96 points to 3,422.44 points from last Friday’s 3,451.40 points.

11 Plc lost N28.10 during the session to end at N255.50 per share compared with the previous session’s N283.60 per share, and FrieslandCampina Wamco Nigeria Plc declined by N4.78 to N54.02 per unit from N58.80 per unit.

On the flip side, Central Securities Clearing System (CSCS) Plc increased its value by N2.82 to N31.02 per share from N28.20 per share.

The volume of securities traded yesterday rose by 37.8 per cent to 3.2 million units from the previous 2.3 million units, the value of securities jumped by 50.1 per cent to N536.5 million from N357.3 million, and the number of deals went up by 7.7 per cent to 28 deals from 28 deals.

At the close of business, Okitipupa Plc was the most traded stock by value on a year-to-date basis with 165.2 million units transacted for N7.1 billion, followed by Air Liquide Plc with 507.3 million units worth N4.2 billion, and FrieslandCampina Wamco Nigeria Plc with 45.5 million units valued at N2.0 billion.

Industrial and General Insurance (IGI) Plc was the most traded stock by volume on a year-to-date basis with 1.2 billion units worth N419.2 million, trailed by Impresit Bakolori Plc with 536.9 million units worth N524.8 million, and Air Liquide Plc with 507.3 million units valued at N4.2 billion.
