The governor of Edo State, Monday Okpebholo has assured President Bola Tinubu of 2.5 million votes in the 2027 presidential election.
Okpebholo gave the assurance to President Tinubu during the commissioning of the New Edo Line in Benin City on Tuesday, July 22, 2025.
He said the Renewed Hope Agenda of the President has transformed Edo State and Nigeria as a whole.
The governor while appreciating Tinubu for his efforts in ensuring growth and development across Edo said the members of the coalition team are wasting their time ahead of 2027.
According to Okpebholo, Edo State will deliver not less than 2.5 million votes to the president in the 2027 presidential election.
His words, “Our duty is to continue to thank the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the man who loves Edo so much, the man who brought reality to Edo State. He is doing it for us, he’s funding us and he’s monitoring it.
“This is a man who believes in practical governance. His renewed hope agenda has transformed this country.
“His policies have transformed this country, What else do we need again? We do not need all these coalitions that are taking place in the coven. They are witchcrafts, and they don’t fly in Africa in the daytime.
“So we have nothing to worry about at all. Come 2027, 2.5 million votes are guaranteed in Edo for President Tinubu. I’m not joking, we are going to deliver it,” Okpebholo announced to a rousing crowd.
