Abia North Senator, Orji Uzor Kalu, has declared that the All Progressives Congress, APC, is not afraid of the opposition coalition.

Kalu said the opposition coalition has every right to challenge the APC, but the ruling party will remain focused on delivering its mandate.

Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, Labour Party ex-presidential candidate, Peter Obi, and Kaduna State former governor, Nasir El-Rufai are spearheading the formation of a coalition.

The coalition, according to El-Rufai would ensure that President Bola Tinubu lost the 2027 presidential election.

However, the former Abia State governor said Nigerians will soon start appreciating the works of the APC-led government which is focused on governance.

Kalu spoke while addressing journalists in Abuja on Tuesday.

He said: “We are not losing sleep. APC has no reason to be afraid. We are the ruling party and passionate about Nigeria’s progress.

“Many of us are investing in industries to create jobs beyond politics.

“These endorsements are not about fear. They’re a result of the President’s bold decisions and transformative governance.

“The opposition has every right to challenge us. That’s their job. But ours is to deliver results, and we are doing just that.

“In time, Nigerians will come to appreciate the tough choices this administration has made.”
