Atiku, a founding member of the Peoples Democratic Party, made the declaration during a meeting with a delegation of National Opinion Leaders, which paid him a courtesy visit in Abuja on Wednesday. Taking to his verified X handle (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday, the former Vice President likened the coalition to a fast-moving train “with multiple stops to bring on board Nigerians of all shades,” in the quest for good governance. Atiku’s position is coming on the heels of the insistence by governors elected on the PDP platform that the party is the beautiful bride to court and not one to go out in search of intending merging partners.
