Hon. Mustapha Shu’aib, a close ally of the NNPP’s 2023 presidential candidate, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has formally resigned from the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).
Hon. Shu’aib, who contested the Bida North Constituency seat in the Niger State House of Assembly election and was the youngest candidate in the 2023 general election, made the decision after extensive consultations with political associates, community leaders, and supporters across his constituency.
His resignation signals a new chapter in his long-standing commitment to public service and grassroots development, while also marking a significant shift in the political landscape of North Central Nigeria.
Recognised as a disciplined, principled, and people-oriented politician, Shu’aib has earned respect for his consistency in advocating good governance, youth inclusion, and community-driven development.
His loyalty to progressive ideals and active participation in the Kwankwasiyya political movement made him a trusted and credible voice within the NNPP.
Sources close to Shu’aib describe the move not as a withdrawal from politics but as a strategic repositioning, aimed at broadening his political influence and enhancing his ability to serve the people of Bida North more effectively.
