WATCH THE VIDEO HERE THE Governor of Abia State, Alex Otti has explained why he did not respond to a comment by the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ben Kalu, that he will be displaced as governor of Abia State by the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2027. Briefing newsmen at Government House Umuahia at the weekend, Otti said he chose not to respond to Ben Kalu’s comment because he believes that power belongs to God and he gives it to whom he wants. Recently, a viral video had shown Kalu boasting that it would be an aberration for him as the number six citizen of Nigeria and another party, and not his APC, would govern Abia State in 2027. The governor in his reaction to Kalu’s remarks, said,” I am actually not competent to sit here to tell what will happen in 2027. I do not subscribe to playing God.
