Ahead of the 2027 general elections, a legal practitioner, Liborous Oshoma, has said that the opinion of Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, is inconsequential, stressing that Nigerians desire alternatives.
Oshoma made this statement on Monday, when he featured on ‘The Morning Show’, a programme on Arise Television.
According to him, Wike would have been a member of the coalition if he had not been in the cabinet of the All Progressives Congress, APC, government.
“There are certain individuals whose statements I don’t take seriously because I have heard them speak from both sides of their mouths before.
“If Wike had not been in this position, he likely would have been a member of the coalition. If the ruling party isn’t worried about the prospects of the coalition, then Minister Wike would not be issuing statements urging Nigerians not to take them seriously,” he said.
