2Baba and Annie didn’t manage their marriage well – Baba Fryo

Veteran musician Baba Fryo has commented on the marriage of his colleague 2Baba and his ex-wife, Annie, suggesting that they did not manage their relationship well.

In January, 2Baba announced his separation from Annie and introduced Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawuru as his new partner.

Discussing this in a recent episode of The Honest Bunch podcast, Baba Fryo claimed that 2Baba left Annie because she was not a good home manager.

He explained that men often seek partners who will support them during difficult times, rather than someone who also engages in unhealthy behaviors. He noted, however, that Natasha is not necessarily an improvement over Annie, emphasizing that he has known her since she was three years old.

Baba Fryo stated, “2Baba and his ex-wife didn’t manage their relationship well. Both of them are entertainers—Annie is an actress, and 2Baba is a musician.

“In a marriage, when a couple goes out, it’s important for the woman to look after the man. If he’s drinking too much, she should help calm him down. But if a man marries a woman who also drinks, then when both are intoxicated, who will take care of the other?

“When a man sees this, he can become insecure in the marriage. If he then encounters another woman with a different attitude—I’m not saying it’s necessarily better—he might be drawn to that. And I should note that I have known Natasha since she was a child; I carried her when she was three years old. Her father, Desmond, and I are friends.”
