WATCH THE VIDEO HERE Media personality Morayo Afolabi Brown has slammed legendary singer 2face, otherwise known as 2baba, over his divorce announcement from his wife of over a decade, Annie Idibia. In an episode on TVC popular show, Your View, which she co-hosts, Morayo says she doesn’t think 2baba should go scot-free over the damage he did to Annie Idibia. She believed that the singer led Annie on maybe due to societal pressure. Morayo noted how the society was there when 2face got married to Annie, hence, why he needs to explain himself to them. She questioned at what point he knew he was no longer interested in Annie and deserted her and what audacity he had to say he had fallen out of love with her. “I don’t think 2baba should go scot-free for what he has done and how he has damaged this young woman. I feel that he has led her on. Maybe it was societal pressure that caused him to stay with this young woman. He needs to tell us because the society was there when they were getting married. At what point did you say you are no longer with Annie, and at what point did you feel you could desert Annie? What audacity do you have to say you have fallen out of love with her?”. It is no longer news that one of African’s favorite love story has come to an end. Last month,, 2baba had announced his separation from, Annie Idibia, after over two decade of being together. He revealed that he and Annie have been separated for a while and are on the verge of divorce, and promised to grant a press release to share his side of the story. Following the news of his crashed marriage, reports made rounds online that the legendary singer has found love in the arms of another lady, Natasha Osawaru Igbinedion, who hails from Edo State. On Tuesday night, 2baba, in a video via his Instagram page, confirmed his relationship with Natasha. He revealed that he loves Natasha and wants to marry her. 2baba made it known that she had nothing to do with the breakdown of his marriage to Annie and claimed that he and Annie have an understanding. In a follow-up post, he shared a photo of Natasha as he urged Nigerians to help beg his new partner to marry him. He went on to describe her as his world.
