The governor stated this at a Thanksgiving and Praise Day held to mark his administration’s second anniversary in Asaba on Thursday.

He said that giving thanks was an application for God to do more for the people, adding that only the living could give thanks to God.

The governor said though Delta is complex but everyone would be carried along in the scheme of  things and nobody would be left behind.

He noted that it has been  two years of consolidating on the achievements, adding that as a state, it has been a custom to give thanks to God every year.

While acknowledging the presence of  the APC stalwarts; Elder Omeni Sobotie, State APC Chairman, the three senators and all the members of House of representatives and the House of Assembly, Oborevwori thanked God for the unity.

According to him,  nobody will be neglected,  it is only with unity that we can move forward.

“The only way we can benefit is to become united. I believe we are more united in APC today more than 10 years ago.

“I am happy that my three senators are here, and Festus Keyamo, Minister of Aviation, the Speaker, Emomotimi Guwor, and members of the House of Assembly, Members of the House of Representatives, Traditional Rulers and other stakeholders,” he said.

He  urged the people to continue to pray for the government to deliver on more projects and the development of the state.

Odutemu said the state has experienced growth and development in the past two years under the Gov. Oborevwori led administration.

He said that God has been faithful since 1999 by keeping many alive to witness today and thanked Oborevwori for sustaining the projects initiated  by his predecessor , Ifeanyi Okowa.

He said, “there is a reason to give thanks to God. For two months I have not driven through this road. I drove from Ughelli to Asaba it took us one hour and nine minute without potholes”

He urged the governor to build the bond of unity among his supporters and not to leave anybody behind.
