WATCH THE VIDEO HERE One Richard Nomanzi, 43 year old man who deals on metal scrap was found dead with multiple knife stabs in his residence in Ogbogoro community,Obio/Akpor Local Government Area on Wednesday 12th February,2025,we learnt. We gathered that neighbours in his compound were perceiving an unpleasant odour emanating from his apartment and alerted the Police as well as his relatives. Our source disclosed that on entering the apartment,the neighbours saw his lifeless corpse. In an interview with our reporter, a woman who simply identified herself as Gift,the mother of the deceased’s child said “My name is Gift’ the mother of Favour,Favour is the child of Richard Chijioke. “I got a call by 3:15pm yesterday,after school,I was at my business premises.I got a called that, if I know Richard Chijioke Nomanzi,I said yes.They said who is he to me,I told them I have a child for him. “They said, I should come to Ogbogoro.Behold when I got there,I just saw his corpse.At his door,the front side.When they turned him,what I saw,they stabbed him all over his face,his stomach with a cut over his neck. “So,with the help of the Police we took him to mortuary.All I want right now is justice for him and for his child”. Our correspondent who saw video of the deceased reports that he had multiple stabs on his body.
The Spokesperson for the Rivers State Police Command,SP Grace Iringe Koko was yet to respond to enquiry by our reporter on the incident but we gathered that the incident has been reported to Ozuoba Police Division under Choba Area Command.
