A 46-year-old Nigerian woman who recently shared her emotional story about battling loneliness and remaining a virgin has started receiving marriage proposals from men both in Nigeria and abroad, according to a recent update from Agidigbo FM.

The woman, whose identity remains undisclosed, had shared her deeply personal story during an emotional appearance on Kokoro Alate, a programme hosted by renowned broadcaster Oriyomi Hamzat.

The woman, whose identity has been withheld, first opened up during an appearance on Kokoro Alate, a popular programme hosted by radio broadcaster Oriyomi Hamzat on Agidigbo FM.

In the deeply personal interview, she disclosed that she had never been in a romantic relationship or engaged in sexual activity, despite being financially independent and hardworking.

She also described enduring years of feeling unwanted and dismissed, especially by younger people who often mocked her as “grandma.”

“I am 46 years old. I have never had sxx. If there’s anything you can use to test me, you can do it. I do not know how to run after men. Three years ago, I noticed men began to see me as an aged woman. I sell goods; I’m not lazy. But the rejection has become too much,” she said tearfully during the broadcast.

Her story quickly resonated with many Nigerians, sparking widespread sympathy and admiration online.

In a follow-up broadcast, Hamzat revealed that the woman’s confession had prompted a surge of marriage proposals from interested men, including Nigerians residing in the United States and the United Kingdom.

“We’ve been getting calls from men, serious-minded individuals, who say they want to meet and marry her,” Hamzat disclosed.

He further invited the woman back to the station to review the proposals, potentially paving the way for her to find a life partner after decades of solitude.
