50 Cent is revisiting one of his most headline-grabbing romances, and he has thoughts.
During a recent appearance on Sherri, the rapper and entertainment mogul reflected on his early 2000s relationship with Vivica A. Fox, which played out very publicly at the height of both of their careers.
“I think that was like, you know, you go to the casino and you just hit the jackpot,” he said. “It was good timing.”
The pair dated in 2003, when Fox was already a major Hollywood name following hits like Independence Day and Set It Off, while 50 Cent was dominating music with Get Rich or Die Tryin’. Their relationship quickly became tabloid fodder, with red-carpet appearances and candid interviews keeping fans invested.
Looking back, 50 suggested he arrived at a pivotal moment in Fox’s life.
“I think where she was at, at that point in her life, when we interacted with each other, I was just right there, right on time,” he added.
Things got awkward when a past clip resurfaced of Fox telling host Sherri Shepherd exactly what she remembers most about their romance. “The fat orgasms,” Fox previously said, a line that has followed the former couple for more than 20 years.
As the clip played, 50 shifted in his seat and laughed it off.
