Irv’s camp has not confirmed the reports but it’s not the first time Gotti has faced health issues. In August 2024, his team confirmed that he was recovering after suffering from a stroke. “Irv has been struggling with diabetes for years, which caused him to have a minor stroke over six months ago. He has since changed his diet to eating more healthy. He’s been successful in making a full recovery. Irv is not in a rehab facility. He is at home with his family, enjoying life,” his rep said in a statement at the time. He previously opened up about his health issues on Drink Champs. “You know what’s f–ked up with diabetes? So anything that you’re gonna like or tastes good, horrible for you. You’re supposed to eat some leaves or some sh-t like that,” he said.
