During a recent interview, Tekashi 6ix9ine was asked his opinion about the rumor that the reason the Migos broke up was because Offset allegedly slept with Quavo’s then-girlfriend, Saweetie.
While both have denied the allegations, some in the industry still believe that was the reason for the fallout.
“All these rappers is rats. I’m not saying these facts, but this the rumor. Quavo’s girl was Saweetie, right? They said Offset slept with Saweetie, that’s why the Migos fell out,” he said. “The game is full of rats. If you sleep with your homie girl, that’s rat material.”
6ix9ine was shunned from the rap industry after he turned on his crew and snitched on them to the feds. At the time, he alleged that he only snitched because the gang member, Shotti, was sleeping with his baby’s mother.
“When you join the streets, you sign up for loyalty. All these street dudes got loyalty tatted. All these street dudes got integrity, principles, right? If that’s your homie, why you sleep with his girl?”
He continued, “Why did Migos split? Why was Takeoff and Quavo riding around [dolo] for so long? What did Offset do [that was] so harmful to not be part of Migos? They still not together til now, and they already lost Takeoff … Where’s all this integrity and the rule book of loyalty? ‘Cause ratting is no loyalty, right? So if I’m f–king your girl, is that loyalty?”
