“A lot of people cry about not having a job, but when they get one, they are inefficient” – Kunle Afolayan laments over the high level of incompetence in Nigeria

Nigerian actor, film producer and director Kunle Afolayan has lamented the high level of incompetence in Nigeria.

Taking to his Instagram page, he pointed out the irony at which many cry about not having a job, yet when they get one, they become inefficient. The filmmaker expressed how pissed and saddened he is with the high rate of incompetence in the country.

“I am so saddened by the high level of incompetence in our beloved country. A lot of people cry about not having a job, but when they get one, how efficient are they at it? I’m so pissed”

Two years back, Kunle Afolayan got invited to join the OSCARS voting academy, a year after his movie was rejected. Expressing gratitude for the invitation, he noted how it is another opportunity for him to serve.

That same year, the Filmmaker was among the 50 people conferred with Officer of the Order of Nigeria (OON). The film producer expressed gratitude to the government for the honour.
