The first night of the Essence Festival this year was pretty amazing. Media Take Out is on the ground, and so far the concerts and the general experience has been amazing.
But last night, two people weren’t on their best behavior – and they let their ratchet ways show.
First off was Busta Rhymes – who proceeded to curse out the fans who paid to see his show – because they wanted to take cell phone videos of the performance. It was really uncalled for. Look:
Next was Birdman and Lil Wayne. Essence organizers did everything they could to make the Cash Money Reunion a hit. They paid EVERYONE handsomely, and even went over and above what they did for other artists – just to make the reunion a success.
But Lil Wayne refused to perform with the other members. And after the set was over, Birdman let the crowd know what he felt about Lil Wayne, by calling him a p***y a** n***a in front of the crowd.
