Nollywood actress Queeneth Hilbert stirred reactions online after she harshly criticised fellow actor Yul Edochie over his choice to embrace polygamy.
Naijaonpoint reports that the drama started when Hilbert shared a now-deleted Instagram post attacking Yul’s lifestyle, accusing him of losing his way both spiritually and morally.
Although ... was taken down, screenshots quickly spread across social media, fueling debates among fans.
In her post, Hilbert used harsh words and offensive terms to describe Yul, referring to him as a man who is spiritually chained.
She wrote: “GOD PUNISH YOU 🔨🔨🔨, A man that is locked up in 21 bottles” and “Polygamous FAGGOT F*CK YOU ‼️”
In other news, Veteran Nollywood actor, Pete Edochie, has opined that Igbo men are not good politicians.
Naijaonpoint reports that the thespian made this known in a recent interview with Afia TV.
According to Pete Edochie, people who are used to politics or the treachery that characterised politics can overlook a lot of things, unlike the Igbos, who are not accustomed to condoning treachery for a second time.
He emphasised that such behaviour towards politics has led many Igbo politicians to sever ties with their strategic political allies.
He said, “An Igbo man is not a good politician. And I will tell you why, people who are used to politics or the treachery that characterised politics, can overlook a lot of things. But the Igbo man is not constituted to condole treachery a second time. If you hurt the Igbo man once in politics, he will never give you an opportunity to hurt him again. He will recoil himself. That’s the average Igbo man.”
