Plans have been concluded by one of Nigeria’s foremost printing and publishing companies, Academy Press Plc, to celebrate 60 years of its existence.
The organisation is rolling out the drums for the Diamond Jubilee, and according to information, there would be enough food and drinks to go round on the day of the celebration.
Events’ organisers have been contracted to ensure Wednesday, October 22, 2025, is a memorable day for stakeholders of the reputable publishing firm.
A space has already been booked at the Lagos Oriental Hotel for the D-Day and all roads will surely head towards that direction two weeks from now.
A statement from the company said the anniversary, themed Celebrating the Past, Envisioning Tomorrow, would be used to honour the contributions of stakeholders to the growth of Academy Press in the last six decades.
The celebration will host government dignitaries, corporate leaders, industry stakeholders, alumni, employees, and international partners.
It will also feature a red carpet reception, goodwill messages, keynote addresses, and engaging moments that connect the past, present, and future of Academy Press.
“This Diamond Jubilee is not only a celebration of our past achievements but also a reaffirmation of our commitment to innovation, excellence, and service.
“We are proud of our heritage, grateful to our stakeholders, and excited about the future we are building together,” the Managing Director of Academy Press, Mr Olugbenga Ladipo, enthused.
