Nollywood actor and movie producer Ibrahim Yekini, better known as Itele, is celebrating his birthday today, January 1st, 2025.
Sharing new photos of himself on his Instagram page, he noted that this day, years ago, the universe welcomed a dreamer, fighter, creator, and a legend in the making.
He said he is celebrating not just another year of life, but every battle he survived, every vision he dared to believe and every soul he has inspired through his craft.
He noted how from Nollywood to the world, his story is still being written – louder, bolder, and greater. Itele added he is walking in purpose, crowned with grace, and backed by destiny.

On his birthday eve, his protege, Kemity, and her students had surprised him with a brand-new TV. Itele, who was impressed with it, said the gift touched his heart deeply and that he appreciated it as an amazing gift.
While counting down to his birthday, the award-winning actor had splashed millions on two new cars for himself as birthday gifts. Sharing photos of the cars, he expressed his humbleness and gratitude, revealing that the car was a gift to himself.
Last year, on his birthday, he expressed gratitude to his Maker for all the opportunities and prayed for God’s protection, guidance, and, above all, a healthy and fortunate life.
His students had treated him to a birthday surprise. Sharing clips from the surprise party online, he revealed that both his old and new students came together to pull off the surprise which left him shocked. Touched by their sweet gesture, he expressed how grateful he was to have them in his life, and also appreciated his wife, who was also a part of it all.
The past year was a winning year for Itele as he had celebrated his movie making the list of Nigeria’s 2025 most searched series. Itele noted how the record is loud and the growth is real. He expressed gratitude for the journey, organic growth, real audience, and impact.
A week back, Itele was ranked among the Top 10 YouTube creators in Nigeria. He expressed gratitude for the love, support, and the journey so far. He appreciated his Koleoso family for believing in him, standing strong and for pushing the vision.
