Actor Yemi Solade trade words with critic over loved-up video of him and his colleague

Nollywood actor Yemi Solade has reacted to the heavy backlash he received over his loved-up video with his colleague, Sanusi Izihaq better known as Apa.

Kemi Filani reported a day back that actor, Rotimi Salami had shared a video of Yemi Solade and Apa in a loved-up moment for his new movie, 5 Alive. In the clip, Yemi was cuddling Apa, as he pecked the actor on his cheek and held him close in a tight embrace.

The video, which didn’t sit well with many, had sparked outrage, with many accusing the actors of promoting and influencing gay scenes in Nollywood.

One of the trolls unapologetically took a swipe at the actor’s mental state. The troll wrote, “Mo sorry but ara yin o ya.

Yemi Solade responded by insulting the troll’s father and wishing the same for him.

“Ori Baba e to wa ni Ogba were lo ri ba wi”, he wrote in Yoruba.

Yemi Solade isn’t the only one who has been caught up in g3y controversy.

In October, Dieko Afolayan, the son of Nollywood filmmaker Kunle Afolayan sparked reactions after he shared a video of himself showing off his
look as he held on to a lady’s bag and behaved femininely, showing off his car working skills. The video which caused a stir online, left many expressing disappointment in him.

Early this year, there was uproar on social media over a viral photo of the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi’s son, Oseloka. The young lad, who is a Hollywood actor, movie producer, and businessman was featured in a gay publication which left many questioning his sexuality. Some defended his father while others dragged the Labour Party presidential candidate for raising a gay son.

In other news, Yemi Solade was accused by a lady of sending his nude pictures to her on Facebook. The lady questioned why anyone would think she was making up such a story, as she called the actor a pervert, noting how he has a family and had a family portrait on his Facebook page, yet was sending her his nude pictures.
