Nigerian filmmaker and actress Funke Akindele has responded to a fan who asked her when she is buying a Lamborghini.

For the past few weeks, Lamborghini has become a trending topic on social media following Burna Boy and Sophia Egbueje’s Lamborghini brouhaha and Mercy Eke buying a Lamborghini.

Kemi Filani reported last week that the internet went wild after Big Brother Naija winner, Mercy Eke announced the arrival of her Lamborghini.

While still reeling from the shock, an audio recording surfaced online of socialite Sophia Egbueje narrating her sexual relationship with Burna Boy and his promise to buy her a Lamborghini, which he didn’t fulfill. Luckily for her, she was able to get it herself.

In a Snapchat interaction with her fans, a fan had inquired when Funke was buying her own Lamborghini.

“When are you buying a Lamborghini?” the fan asked.

Funke, responding to him, noted how people on social media always use everything to play and see things as jokes. The movie star jokingly vowed to block the fan as she further questioned why they are fond of using everything to trend.

“Everything is always funny to you people Abi? I will block you. It is everything you guys are using to trend?”.

Last month, Funke had replied to a fan who inquired about her sexual life. The fan had questioned if the mother of two had time for sex, as she urged her to create time for sex and massage. Funke had replied to her, expressing shock at her statement.

The box office Queen had also disagreed with a Twitter user who spoke out on her work ethic. The tweep revealed how she gets inspired by the award-winning filmmaker and stated that when she wants to rest, she remembers Funke is not resting and as such, continues her hustle. Disagreeing with her, Funke stated that she takes some time off to rest well.

Last year, Funke had opened up on the hard times she experienced before rising to stardom. She shared a video of herself being active on the set of her highest-grossing billion-dollar movie, A Trībe Called Judah, as she counted herself as a testimony of believing in herself, saying she faced different challenges but learned to stand tall and encourage others because of them.

Funke is currently the Queen of the box office as her latest Cinema movie, Everybody Loves Jenifa became the highest-grossing film of all time in West Africa with 1.6 billion. The filmmaker undoubtedly beat her previous record for A Tr!be Called Judah, which grossed over N1.4 billion.
