WATCH THE VIDEO HERE Nollywood actress Jayeola Monje has expressed gratitude to the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi following her courtesy visit to his palace. Taking to her Instagram page, Jayeola shared a video of her in Ife attending the Queen Moremi Ajasoro 2024 event in Ile Ife, Osun State. In the clip she posted online, she was seen kneeling as she conversed with the monarch. In another clip, Jayeola was captured sitting on the floor as she engaged in another round of conversation with the Ooni. In her caption, she expressed gratitude to him for his endorsement and support for her forthcoming project. Taking her desperation to the extreme, the movie star was captured in a video twerking for the monarch as she hosted the Queen Moremi Pageantry. Similarly, Bimpe Akintunde had said she was set to be welcomed into the palace of the Ooni as a new wife. She prayed that Ashely, who is now the King’s fourth wife, would be welcomed quickly so that she could welcome her in as a new wife to the Ooni of Ife in return. Singer, Portable had also met with the Ooni. The excited singer shared a series of videos from his visit to the monarch, who was so impressed with him that he gifted him several bundles of naira. Portable further won the admiration of the Ooni when he stated that he would give out the money to the less privileged. To add to it, the Ooni hosted Iyabo Ojo and other cast of the popular reality show, Real Housewives of Lagos and called them a witch. While interacting with them, the Ooni claimed that all women possess witchcraft spirits and are manipulative nature. In response to this revelation, Iyabo sought clarification, asking if the king meant that all women were witches. The king affirmed this but promptly added that they were “good witches.”
