ADC spokesman blasts PDP for attacking coalition, not APC

Bolaji Abdullahi 1

Bolaji Abdullahi, national publicity secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has accused the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its chieftains of neglecting their role and targeting smaller parties instead of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Abdullahi questioned the PDP’s silence in the face of recent national developments while allegedly attacking the ADC.

“Why is PDP, a supposed opposition party, attacking the ADC but has nothing to say to the ruling party? Interesting times,” he wrote.

Bala Mohammed, governor of Bauchi and a leading PDP voice, had earlier said the ADC lacked the political structure to win in 2027.

Former Senate president Bukola Saraki also joined the fray, saying the PDP had remained consistent in opposing what he called the APC’s failings.
