Dr. Deji Adeleke, the billionaire businessman and father of popular singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has spoken on the paternity allegations involving his son.
The controversy stems from claims by an Ibadan-based woman, Ayo Labinjo, who alleged that she had an intimate relationship with Davido during a past visit to the city, which resulted in the birth of a baby girl named Anu.
She further claimed that the singer has declined responsibility for the child.
The matter resurfaced on social media after Anu, through an Instagram account, appealed to Davido to undergo another DNA test to clarify her paternity status.
In response, Davido maintained that five DNA tests had already been conducted and that all the results showed he is not the child’s father.
Dr. Deji Adeleke addressed the issue during a press conference held on Wednesday, where he spoke on the paternity claims concerning his son.
