The Senior Special Assistant to the Osun State Governor on Security Matters, Hon. Kehinde Olakanmi, has called for greater love and unity among humanity.
Hon. Kehinde made the call on Thursday during his turbaning ceremony as the Akeweje Adini of Ayegbami Community Central Mosque, held at the community’s CAC Grammar School in Ede.
He emphasized the need to love everyone, including neighbors, regardless of differences in religion or ethnicity.
While thanking the Ayegbami Community for finding him worthy of the title, Hon. Kehinde pledged to use his new Islamic title to promote Islam and teach young people how to live good and meaningful lives.
He urged the people of Ayegbami Community to continue to live in peace and harmony and to be law-abiding citizens.
Also speaking, the Chairman of Ede North Local Government, elected on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Amodu Taiwo, described Hon. Kehinde as a responsible youth with a resilient spirit in leadership and politics.
Hon. Amodu added that the Akeweje Adini title conferred on Hon. Kehinde is well-deserved, noting that he is a devoted Muslim with a bright future.
The LG Chairman encouraged him to continue his good deeds, saying there are greater positions ahead of him.
The turbaning ceremony was well attended by political associates, community members, and family associates, who all turned out to show their support for Hon. Kehinde.
