THE Super Eagles of Nigeria are due to leave Cairo, Egypt for Morocco today for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

The three-time African champions have been preparing in the Egyptian capital since Sunday, and faced the Pharaohs in an unofficial friendly match on Tuesday, which the hosts won 2-1.

Meanwhile, Victor Osimhen was the last player of the 28 invited to reach Cairo, arriving in the temporary camp on Wednesday night, a full day after everyone else was available for the friendly.

The Super Eagles contingent are scheduled to leave Cairo by noon for Fez, where they plan to hold a training session in the evening.

Eric Chelle’s side are in Group C at the 2025 AFCON, along with Tanzania, Uganda and Tunisia.

The Super Eagles open their campaign on Tuesday against Tanzania, before battling Tunisia four days later and Uganda on December 30.
