Afeez Owo pens heartfelt note to God as he counts his blessings

Nollywood actor and filmmaker Afeez Owo has penned a heartfelt note to his Maker.

Taking to his Instagram page to share new photos of himself, he appreciated his Maker for his unending blessings. Afeez stated that he would never be ungrateful to God as he sees all the grace around him.

“I will never be ungrateful to you lord

I see the grace all around me

Last year November, was a tough time for Afeez Owo and his family as he lost his father. In an Instagram post, the Yoruba movie producer expressed how saddened he was as he bade his father fare well.

Despite the death of his father, Afeez undoubtedly had a good year in 2024. The husband of Mide Martins added a new car to his collection of cars. Owo shared a video of him admiring his new car as he took a ride in it.

He had bagged an award and certification in Canada. The certification was to honor him for his exceptional talent as an actor, producer, and director. The award organizers noted his commitment to enhancing the community and the Nigerian entertainment industry through his creative work.

During his trip to Canada in October, Afeez opened up about how he found peace. He shared a photo of himself and some of his colleagues as he revealed that he found peace when he consoled himself that things don’t just happen. They happen for a purpose. He also consoled himself by saying that there is time for everything.

In other news , Afeez revealed his relationship with his wife’s late mother, Funmi Martins. In a discussion with Biola Bayo, Afeez narrated how he met Funmi Martins, lived with her, and became an in-law. The actor spoke about how he developed a bond with Mide on her arrival to Nigeria and how the latter always consulted him in all her matters including her mother, begging him to chastise his wife.
