They signed Duran from Aston Villa in the January winter transfer window. But now, he wants to leave, and there are strong talks linking him with a return to Europe, with Fenerbahce touted as a likely destination.
With Duran set to exit Al Nassr, the club will need to sign a replacement this summer, and they have identified a Super Eagles striker as a potential target.
Who is the Super Eagles striker that Al Nassr want?
According to Transfer expert Ben Jacobs, Al Nassr are considering a move for Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface this summer.

Recall that they tried to sign him from Bayer Leverkusen in January, when they were in search of a striker.
It looked like he was going to move to Al Nassr until the deal broke down in the last minute and the Saudi Arabian club announced Duran.
However, they could revisit the deal this summer. Boniface is valued at around €40 million, which is very affordable for the Saudi giants.
The Super Eagles striker has contributed 32 goals and 12 assists in 61 appearances for Bayer Leverkusen over the last two seasons.
Boniface currently earns around €38,500 every week at Leverkusen, and Al Nassr will hope that they can convince him with a bumper offer.

The 24-year-old forward is very strong and an adept dribbler. He is also quick and great at sniffing out or creating opportunities. He can play off a second striker, which makes him a perfect partner for Ronaldo.

Playing and rubbing shoulders with Ronaldo - arguably the greatest player that football has had - will be a big one for any player, including Boniface.
But while he respects the former Real Madrid star, Boniface does not believe he is the greatest ever. He believes Brazilian attacker Neymar is the best to ever play the game.
“Neymar is my football idol. The greatest of all time? Also Neymar. Ronaldo and Messi are from different planets, but on this planet, the one I know is Neymar. Ronaldo and Messi can go somewhere else, but leave Neymar here,” Boniface said in an interview in 2024.
Al Nassr have not made an offer for Boniface yet. But in the coming days, Boniface’s future should get clearer.
