“After multiple failed IVFs, multiple miscarriages and 21 years of my husband waiting” – Sunmbo Adeoye shares emotional testimony as miracle son turns 7

After multiple failed IVFs and miscarriages Sunmbo Adeoye shares her emotional testimony as she cele

Sunmbo Adeoye, the wife of clergyman Pastor David Adeoye and ex-wife of 2baba, has recounted her trials as she celebrates her son’s 7th birthday.

In a lengthy post on her Instagram page, she revealed that she experienced multiple failed IVFs and multiple miscarriages with no logical reasons. She said her mum kept encouraging her that she would indeed deliver a living baby.

Sunmbo revealed that on the night of her husband’s birthday shoot, their miracle clicked, then her pregnancy began to grow, and her son told her not to allow fear to grip her because she was scared of miscarriage.

The mum of four said her friends threw her a baby shower in her third trimester, and she was very happy. She posted the photos on the internet and didn’t listen to those who told her to take them down.

Sunmbo noted how her husband was there by her side, praying, watching, and fighting. She added that the moment their son David was born, her husband’s 21 years of waiting for his own child were over.

The pastor’s wife encouraged those who were holding on to him and believed in him for a settlement not to give up.

“Which of the promises of God can I deny? None! Not after what He did.
The result is still making me blush.

After multiple failed IVFs and multiple miscarriages with no logical reasons, hope felt like a myth. It wasn’t easy, but we kept trusting God.

My mum kept reassuring me that I would indeed deliver a living baby, year in and year out. Then one day, we went for a birthday shoot for my husband. I was bent on celebrating him regardless of the loss we had just recorded a few months before.

That was the night ooo
In the midst of that celebration. We danced, laughed, snapped pictures… and that boom, the miracle clicked.

Then the pregnancy began to grow, the 1st and 2nd trimesters passed, Smooth, very smooth.
The time I usually have the miscarriages came and Fear tried to creep in, whispering the past into my womb. No way oo!

Then, my son Nino told me in the kitchen, “Don’t let fear steal our joy.” I snapped out of it, and I chose joy.

The 3rd trimester came like a breeze. This child didn’t give me any issues. My friends threw me the very 1st baby shower ever. I was filled with joy. I posted the pictures, telling God, “God, this is ours—win or lose.” They said, “Take it down.” I said, “Watch him perfect it.” I guess asking me to pull it down was born out of their genuine fear, but I left it there as a sign that HE WHO BEGAN A GREAT WORK IN ME WILL INDEED BRING IT TO PERFECTION.

Did He not do it? Ah! My God did it, wrestled from dilating to epidural to theatre, but we had our Victory at last.

My husband was right there by my side. Kai Pastor @davidoadeoye stood tall, praying, watching, fighting, and declaring the word while we wrestled.

He said to me, “You are both champions!” The moment David was born, his 21 Years of waiting for his own child were finally over.

Today I return with this testimony that is now 7 Years old to thank God for the PERFECTION THAT IS “PRINCE DAVID THE CHAMPION”
