Raja Casablanca were earlier in the market to secure the signing of Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali…

Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca are turning their attention to Nigerian forward Isaac Success after being linked with Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali, Soccernet.ng reports.

According to Africa Foot, the three-time CAF Champions League winners are in advanced talks with Success, who is currently under contract with Al Wasl in the United Arab Emirates.

The 29-year-old is seen as a key target to strengthen Raja’s attacking options as they seek to bounce back from a disappointing campaign.

Success is no stranger to top-level football. After developing his game in Nigeria, he earned a move to Europe, featuring for La Liga sides Granada and Malaga before making his mark in the Premier League with Watford.

He later switched to Serie A with Udinese, where he impressed before taking up a new challenge in the UAE Pro League with Al Wasl.

Raja Makes Interest In Super Eagles’ Nwabali

The Casablanca club’s interest in Success follows their reported approach to South African side Chippa United for Nwabali to solidify their goalkeeping department.

With reports linking two players with the Moroccan side, it is hoped that if the deal materialises, they will be looking to reclaim their dominance.

While negotiations with Al Wasl are said to be progressing, no official announcement has been made by either club or the player’s representatives.
