WATCH THE VIDEO HERE The Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, has ordered the redeployment of officers to fill positions left vacant by those forced to retire due to age falsification and document forgery.A list of 467 officers who manipulated their records to extend their service was earlier published. Some officers retired quietly, while others refused, prompting the police leadership to summon them before a disciplinary committee. The affected officers, some in service for over four decades, include senior officials from various training courses. Meanwhile, the police have confirmed the full implementation of the retirements. A police memo directed all commands and departments to proceed with the decision, ensuring compliance with the regulations.
