WATCH THE VIDEO HERE While OPPO did launch the Find X8 Pro with the latest-generation MediaTek Dimensity 9400 in November, it did come out in 2024 and can be named a best smartphone of 2024. Here at Android Headlines, it won unanimously for Best Battery Life Smartphone amongst our editors – that’s 6-0. And it’s not hard to see why. The battery life on the Find X8 Pro is truly impressive. As I said in my review just last month, it has “Epic Battery”. But that’s not all that sets the OPPO Find X8 Pro apart, it also has incredible 80W charging. So you can charge up the 5910mAh capacity battery in about 40 minutes or so. That’s really great to see, in case you do need a bit more juice. Among many of the smartphones launching from China, we’re seeing a lot of phones using Silicon-Carbon for its batteries as of late, including OPPO. Silicon-Carbon allows the battery to be more dense, so despite the OPPO Find X8 Pro sporting a pretty massive 5910mAh capacity battery the phone itself is still fairly thin. We’re looking at just 8.2mm thin, which is thinner than the Galaxy S24 Ultra at 8.6mm and even the iPhone 16 Pro Max at 8.3mm. That’s quite the feat. Even after the review, I’ve continued using the OPPO Find X8 Pro as my daily driver and it just keeps getting better. Seeing times that I’ve never seen before on a smartphone. That makes this a true battery-life champ, and it also has me excited for the future of smartphones. Not only are they getting faster, but they are also getting more efficient.
