Artificial Intelligence, among other trends in data analytics, is set to undergo transformative changes primarily affecting businesses that effectively harness its power to emerge as leaders in their industries.

This is according to a data analyst, Damilare Tiamiyu, who boats six years of experience driving global business transformations through analytics.

In a statement, Tiamiyu identified five major trends that will define data analytics in 2025 and beyond, including hyper-automation, the convergence of AI and analytics, ethical AI and responsible data practices, edge analytics, and a data-centric culture.

“Hyper-automation, AI and analytics convergence, ethical AI and responsible data practices, edge analytics, and a data-centric culture will be the defining trends in data analytics,” Tiamiyu said.

He emphasised the increasing role of technologies like AI and machine learning in enabling businesses to process massive datasets with greater speed and accuracy.

Tiamiyu also stressed the need for ethical AI and responsible data usage to drive sustainable innovation and maintain public trust.

“By 2025, data literacy programs will be the norm, and companies that invest in training their employees to understand and interpret data will reap the benefits of a more empowered workforce,” he noted.

Tiamiyu added that cultivating a data-centric culture would be critical for businesses aiming to stay competitive.

This includes prioritising data literacy among employees and integrating analytics into decision-making processes.

As businesses navigate the evolving analytics landscape, Tiamiyu’s predictions highlight the importance of staying ahead of these trends to secure growth and industry leadership.
