Akpabio: ‘Natasha on a mission to destabilize Tinubu’s govt’ – Activist blasts Kogi senator

United Kingdom-based activist Dr. Sandra Duru, popularly known as Professor Mgbeke, has accused suspended Kogi Central senator, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, of fabricating sexual harassment allegations against Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

During a fiery one-hour Facebook Live session on Thursday night, Dr. Duru claimed to possess recorded phone conversations in which the embattled senator allegedly admitted to having no evidence of any inappropriate conduct by Akpabio.

She alleged that Akpoti-Uduaghan offered her a ₦200 million bribe to publicly accuse the former Akwa Ibom governor of organ harvesting.

“She told me plainly that she had no evidence. When I confronted her, she said Nigerians were ‘G and H’ – Gullible and Hungry. That’s wicked,” Mgbeke declared during the live session.

The activist said she had submitted the recordings and other related data to international law enforcement bodies, including agencies in the United States, for forensic analysis.

She also claimed to have alerted the Inter-Parliamentary Union and the Nigerian Police, urging them to investigate the senator’s alleged falsehoods and her purported knowledge of the 2021 murder of Iniubong Umoren — a tragic case that sparked nationwide outrage.

“An autopsy was done. There was no organ harvesting. Why would a senator claim to know something about that case and never come forward until now?” she queried.

Dr. Duru further accused the suspended lawmaker of using gender activism as a weapon for political blackmail, stating:

“Natasha is not on a mission for justice. She’s on a mission to destroy men — and destabilize a government she referred to as ‘Yoruba-controlled.’”
