THE wife of Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, Patience Umo Eno, has passed away.
Her death was confirmed by the State Commissioner for Information, Ini Ememobong, in a statement released early this morning.
According to the statement, titled “Unexpected Sunset,” the First Lady died yesterday, September 26, 2024, at a hospital, surrounded by her family.
The Commissioner expressed the family’s submission to the will of God and requested prayers and privacy as they mourn.
Governor Umo Eno expressed his gratitude to those who have offered their support during this time and reaffirmed his dedication to serving the state despite the significant personal loss.
