Alimosho Arewa Community Hails Hon. Akinpelu Johnson on Resounding Electoral Victory

Alimosho Arewa Community has hailed Hon. Akinpelu Johnson on his resounding electoral victory.

NaijaOnPoint Nigeria reports that the Arewa Community in Alimosho Local Government has extended its heartfelt congratulations to the All Progressives Congress (APC) chairmanship candidate, Hon. Akinpelu Ibrahim Johnson, following his sweeping victory in the Lagos State local council elections held on July 12, 2025.

Johnson emerged triumphant with over 22,000 votes, defeating his opponents by a wide margin and securing a fresh mandate to lead Alimosho, the largest local government in Lagos State.

In a statement issued by its Chairman, Ibrahim Jagaba, the Arewa Community also commended Hon. Francis Adebisi, who was elected Vice Chairman on the APC ticket, along with all councillorship candidates of the APC who won across the seven wards of Alimosho.

Jagaba expressed the community’s confidence in Hon. Johnson’s leadership, describing him as a visionary with a clear agenda to accelerate development in the area.

He further highlighted Johnson’s campaign focus on human capital development, particularly in health, education, environmental renewal, empowerment, and agriculture, as a testament to his commitment to inclusive growth.

“We believe this administration will deepen prosperity and drive inclusive progress for all residents of Alimosho,” Jagaba said. “Hon. Johnson’s message of unity and development resonated with the people, and we look forward to the fulfilment of his promises.”
