All AFCON 2025 stadiums in Morocco have been confirmed, with the Africa Cup of Nations set to be staged across multiple modern venues as the North African country prepares to welcome the continent’s best teams, Soccernet.ng reports.
The North African nation has selected venues from cities like Rabat, Tangier, Casablanca and Marrakech, among other cities.
Below is a full breakdown of all the stadiums set to host AFCON 2025, including their locations, seating capacity, and historical significance.
All AFCON 2025 stadiums in Morocco:
1. Stade Prince Moulay Abdellah – Rabat
The stadium, located in Rabat, has a capacity of 68,700. Stade Prince Moulay Abdellah is Morocco’s flagship stadium and one of the largest in the country.
It regularly hosts Morocco’s national team matches and major continental competitions. The venue has undergone several renovations and is expected to stage explosive AFCON fixtures, including knockout games.
2. Stade Al Barid – Rabat
A compact but modern venue with 18,000 capacity, Stade Al Barid is mainly used for domestic football and youth competitions. CAF’s push to spread AFCON matches across multiple venues is on of the major reasons for its approval.
3. Stade Moulay El Hassan – Rabat
Home to FUS Rabat, Stade Moulay El Hassan is one of Morocco’s most historic football grounds. Though smaller in size with 22,000, it offers excellent facilities and a strong football atmosphere.

4. Stade Olympique de Rabat – Rabat
Primarily an athletics stadium, Stade Olympique de Rabat has hosted various sporting events over the years with its 21,000 capacity. For AFCON 2025, it will serve as an additional venue to ease scheduling and logistics in the capital.
5. Tangier Grand Stadium – Tangier
The largest stadium selected for AFCON 2025, Tangier Grand Stadium, is one of Africa’s most impressive football arenas with 75,000 capacity. Opened in 2011, it has hosted FIFA Club World Cup matches and international fixtures, making it a strong candidate for major AFCON games.

6. Complexe Sportif Mohammed V – Casablanca
A legendary venue in African football, the Mohammed V Sports Complex is home to Wydad AC and Raja Casablanca. With a 45,000 capacity, it has hosted countless CAF competitions and remains one of the most intimidating stadiums for visiting teams.
7. Complexe Sportif de Fes – Fes
Opened in 2007, the Fes Sports Complex is a modern stadium that has hosted international matches and domestic finals. Its central location makes it ideal for group-stage matches during AFCON 2025. It has a capacity of 45,000.


8. Grand Stade d’Agadir – Agadir
The Grand Stade d’Agadir is a modern venue with excellent infrastructure. It regularly hosts Morocco’s national team and CAF competitions and is expected to draw large crowds from southern Morocco, filling up its 45,850 capacity.
9. Grand Stade de Marrakech – Marrakech
