Nollywood actress and singer Angela Okorie has reacted to Italy’s new restrictions on LGBTQ+ parenting.

Naijaonpoint reports that the Italian government recently introduced measures that prevent gay and lesbian couples from raising children, restrict non-biological parents from being listed on birth certificates, and criminalize surrogacy abroad.

Reacting on her Instagram story, Angela shared her support for the move, describing same-sex parenting as unacceptable and questioning the ability of such couples to raise children.

The mother of one also linked her opinion to her faith, calling for what she described as a spiritual cleansing against practices she considers wrong.

She wrote: “Same-sex couples are not okay. They are not mentally stable to train kids.We declare divine sanitation all around the world in Jesus name amen. All those nonsense must stop.”

In other news, Nigerian skitmaker, Adesokan Adedeji Emmanuel, popularly known as Shank Comics, has reacted after his old social media post praising convicted American rapper, Diddy’s “mindset” resurfaced and sparked heavy backlash online.

Naijaonpoint reports that in the old post, Shank spoke about admiring Diddy’s “perspective to the grind” and his ability to adapt, noting that the music mogul “got lost in the pursuit of power.”

Amid the backlash online, Shank, in a post via his 𝕏 handle, clarified that he was not supporting Diddy in any way.

According to him, the earlier social media post was a “misguided attempt” at referencing a villain in a movie.
