Juventus and AC Milan are locked in a fierce transfer battle for 19-year-old Alvin Obinna Okoro, the highly-rated striker currently plying his trade at Serie C side Vis Pesaro, Soccernet.ng reports.

The Nigerian-Italian forward, on loan from Venezia, has drawn significant interest from the two Italian giants as they look to bolster their respective under-23 teams, according to TMW.

Okoro has been a revelation this season, scoring four goals and providing two assists in his early outings for Vis Pesaro.

Known for his versatility, the youngster operates primarily as a second striker but is also adept at playing on the wing.

His performances have turned heads in Serie C, making him one of the most sought-after young talents in Italian football.

Juventus, in particular, have shown a strong desire to bring Okoro to their Next Gen squad, which competes in Serie C.

The Bianconeri have already initiated contact with Venezia and proposed a loan deal with an option to buy.

However, Venezia, who value Okoro at €1.2 million (approximately N1.9 billion), are reportedly holding out for a loan agreement that includes a mandatory purchase clause.

AC Milan, meanwhile, had expressed interest in the teenager but appear reluctant to meet Venezia’s terms. The Rossoneri’s preference for a simple loan with a buy option has seen negotiations stall in recent days.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding his future, Okoro’s stock continues to rise.

A product of Pordenone’s youth academy, he made his professional debut in Serie B at just 17 years and 23 days, becoming one of the youngest players to feature during the 2021-22 campaign.

After joining Venezia on a permanent transfer in 2022, Okoro was loaned to Vis Pesaro in 2024, where he has thrived in Serie C.

Born in Vicenza to Nigerian parents, Okoro remains eligible to represent either Italy or Nigeria at the international level, though he has yet to receive a call-up from either country.

With Juventus and Milan vying for his signature, the January transfer window promises to be pivotal for his budding career.
