Amazon Prime Is Giving Us 14 Free Games
Even More, Really
14 free games is a pretty impressive lineup, and that number is the most conservative way of looking at the roster. The Forgotten Realms: The Archives collections each contain multiple games (Collection 2, most impressively, packs eight into one bundle). Add all those up, and you’re looking at a much higher sum.
It’s also a solid set of games, especially if you appreciate the classics. LEGO 2K Drive might be the flashiest addition, but Fallout 1 and 2 are as good today as ever. The Forgotten Realms bundles might not keep up with the sophisticated game design of Baldur’s Gate 3, but they can still be interesting forays for hardcore D&D fans.
It’s Hard To Know Where To Start
Too Many Choices In December
With only three games (well, two and one collection) to choose from right now, the month isn’t too overwhelming yet. As the games keep coming, however, choosing what to prioritize could be tough. Bo: Path of the Teal Lotus is a good choice for fans of Hollow Knight, while Dreamscaper is an interesting option if you like roguelite action.
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is a nice way to close out the month, returning players to the shoes of Human Revolution protagonist Adam Jensen. Nine years have now passed without a new Deus Ex game, so this Amazon Prime Gaming addition is still the latest way to catch up with the series.
