Amber Rose is the latest celebrity to call for Tory Lanez to be pardoned and released from prison.
The model and media personality appeared on NewsNation’s CUOMO with Chris Cuomo, where she voiced her support for Lanez, who’s currently serving a 10-year prison sentence in connection with the 2020 shooting of Megan Thee Stallion.
Lanez was convicted of assault with a semi-automatic firearm, carrying a concealed and unregistered weapon, and discharging a firearm with gross negligence.
Amber Rose says she hopped on a call with Lanez, and now she’s riding for him all the way.
“I heard the whole story from Tory’s mouth. He called me personally from prison,” she told Cuomo.
“I now understand why he said sorry, and it’s not for any shooting at all. I’ll let him tell that story when he comes home, but the sorry was not for what people think it was for,” she added.
Lanez’s legal team recently dropped off a treasure trove of evidence, seemingly proving his innocence on website 36hourslater.com.
